A biography of English writer Edgar Wallace (1875–?), known for his prolific output and mastery of crime fiction. Born in poverty in London and leaving school at twelve, Wallace later served in the army and worked as a war correspondent. His most famous works include 'The Justice Council', 'The Night Thief', and 'The Seven Locks'.
