About the project
Talkarabicnow is a platform for learning the Arabic language and culture. At its core lie a full-immersion methodology and the living language of specific dialects; over the years the project has grown from an author's method into a comprehensive Arabic ecosystem.
From an author's method to an Arabic centre
The project began as a system of materials for adults, developed from years of immersion in a natural language environment. Over time it evolved into a comprehensive Arabic centre: today it is a place not only to study the language, but also to learn the culture, traditions and way of life of Arab countries, and to receive individual consultations and methodological support at every stage of study.
Methodological foundation
The method is built on the principle of living language: instead of a unified literary standard, the dialects of specific countries voiced by native speakers, with systematic work on reading, listening and conversational practice. The methodology draws on the author's own path — having mastered Arabic directly within the environment, without a formal course, and having systematised that experience into a reproducible system of materials.
More than a language
The Arabic language is inseparable from the cultural context in which it functions. The platform therefore encompasses not only the linguistic layer but the cultural one — the traditions, everyday life and characteristics of Arab societies — and provides access to optional native-speaker consultations.
Scale of the project
19 dialects with native-speaker audio
600+ books in the reading library
Over 2,000 users have worked with the platform materials
200,000 readers of the author's blog
Mission
To develop in the adult user a genuine communicative competence — the ability to understand living speech and interact freely within an Arabic-speaking environment — grounded in a rigorously designed methodology, authentic materials and a systematic approach to language study.
