Analyse a video
Watch Arabic video with a clickable transcript: tap a word and get a full breakdown.
This is the heart of the platform. You bring any YouTube video, and we show the text synced to the speech. Tap a word you do not know and a card opens: translation, vowels and a native voice.
The video is coming soon — read the guide below for now
- 1Paste a YouTube link here.
- 2Press “Analyse video”.
- 3Nothing to hand? Use our collections: films and series, YouTube channels, songs.
Your first video
- Open "Analyse video" in the top menu.
- Paste a YouTube link — or pick one from our collections (channels, songs, films).
- Wait a few seconds: we pull the subtitles and detect the dialect.
- Press play — the text scrolls with the speech and the current line is highlighted.
What you can do
Tap any Arabic word — a "Word breakdown" card opens: translation, transcription with the stress marked, vowels and audio. This is the most useful button on the platform.
Save a word — the plus button on the card. It goes to your dictionary and comes back for review in the trainer.
Toggle vowel marks — the switch above the text. Beginners find them easier; later you are better off without.
Tap a line — the video jumps to that moment. Handy for replaying a tricky phrase.
Turn on Theater — the button above the transcript. The page dims: video on the left, subtitles in a column on the right, nothing else. Exit with the close button in the top-right corner or the Esc key. On a phone, rotate to landscape for the full cinema layout.
If there are no subtitles
Some videos have none. Then we transcribe the speech ourselves, which takes about a minute. If that fails too, pick another video — most channels have some with subtitles.
What it costs
On the free plan — 3 videos a day, enough to study daily. Need more? A subscription removes the limit.
